Terms of service
Payments:
There are two payment methods: Full (pay 100% of the price upfront) or 50/50 (pay half the price before I start your commission and the second half after you approve the final art).
I accept payments through:
• PayPal
• Zelle
• Ko-Fi
When paying for your commission, do not use friend to friend. Wait for an invoice and payment instructions. Wait until I have approved of your commission request and sent you an invoice before sending any payments.
Commission Time:
Your commission will take anywhere between 1 to 2 weeks time. You will be frequently updated on the stage of your commission and will be asked if a stage is satisfactory in order to move forward. This is to ensure the art you want is truly what you want and how you want it. This may or may not take a toll on how long the process in completing the commission is. All time extensions will be communicated.
Commission Stages:
You will be asked if a stage has met your satisfaction in order to move forward to the next. I will not move on to a new stage until you, the commissioner, approve of the current stage of your commission. This is to ensure you get the best possible quality control for your commission.
The different stages include:
• Sketch
• Background Sketch (if detailed)
• Line Art
• Colour
• Background(if applicable)
All stages will be logged by their start as well as finish dates.
Work In Progress(WIPS):
You may request a WIP at any point in time regardless of stage progress or lack thereof. This is to ensure full transparency from me, the artist, to you, the commissioner.
Personal Use Commissions:
If you are requesting a commission for personal use, they can be used as profile pictures for personal accounts, backgrounds, a photo in your home, or a sticker on your car, ect. These types of commissions are to be used for personal use only. Personal use commissions should never be used for profit. By commissioning art for personal use you agree not to sell, trade, or use my art in any way that results in your own financial gain. All prices on the pricing page of aletesama.art are listed for personal use only. Failure to abide by these terms for personal use commissions will result in certain actions being taken against you, such as being declined of future commission request opportunities, and/or legal action.
Commercial Use Commissions:
If you are requesting a commission for commercial use, they can be used for official use such as advertising, company logos, YouTube banners, vtuber models, books, ect. These types of commissions are to be used for commercial uses. Commercial use commissions may be used for profit. By commissioning art for commercial use, you agree with the terms agreed upon by me. These terms will be negotiated between me, the artist, and you, the commissioner, and should there be needed, a third party of legal representation. If you are requesting a commission for commercial use, you must declare so in your initial commission request. Failure to do so will result in you being declined for future commission requests as well as legal action depending on the severity of the offense.
File Requests:
Once a commission is finished, you may request for several types of file for said commissions. These file types consist of:
• PNG
• JPEG
• PSD
• TIFF
• MP4 (For speedpaints)
Initial files sent will be sent in PNG format if through email, and JPEG if through social media. You may request other file types prior to your commission being finished, but keep in mind, these files will only be given once the commission is finished. Speedpaints may be requested at any time after the commission, but specify whether you would like the full length MP4 file, or the sped up version. I will hold and back up PNG files for all commissions permanently, but note that other file types may not be held or saved for an indefinite amount of time. At the very least, they will be saved for 3 months. If after those 3 months, and you request a file that is not a PNG, please be aware there is a chance they may no longer be available.
Sometimes commissions may have an added "extra". This means I either drew a practice sketch, or a doodle that is not part of the commission directly. These "extras" are not charged in any way, nor are they required for acknowledgement. If they have been made, you may request to have them sent to you alongside your commission. Please note that these extras will be treated as private use and not to be used for marketing, selling, or trading.
Refunds:
I do not offer refunds in any form. If there is evidence of a chargeback, I will take legal action. I take my commissions very seriously, and as should you.
Other:
• I post all commissions on my portfolio/social media.
